If you're looking to finance your special event with a low-interest loan that requires no down payment, you may have questions about using Event Financial Services and our chosen providers. If you don't find your answer here, please contact us by e-mail or call (877) 888-0708.

How does it work?

You may decide on your special event venue and find out that Event Financial Services is a preferred payment method and apply. Or you may use Event Financial Services to select chosen providers. Distinctive venues have a special place on the Event Financial Services site. Each and every one not only accepts, but welcomes Event Financial Services as a payment method.

How do I apply?

You can apply directly online by clicking here. In addition, applications are available in our brochures, which are available at select special event venues, or you may apply over the phone at (877) 888-0708 and press 1.

How much can I borrow?

Event Financial Services offers loans for up to $25,000 for those who qualify. Because Event Financial Services only works with distinctive venues and select caterers we can only fund amounts to those parties.

Can I be pre-approved?

Event Financial Services can pre-approve you, simply enter $9,999 as your loan amount and we will pre-approve you for the highest loan amount possible and you can borrow any amount up to or equal to the amount for which you were approved.

What if I don't know how much my special event will cost?

That is often the case. We suggest you use your best estimate. It is better to over, rather than under estimate, because any money left over after the event will be returned to the bank and applied directly to reduce your loan principal accordingly. If you underestimate, however, you can simply pay additional funds directly to your venue when they are due.

What if my venue doesn't offer Event Financial Services?

Because Event Financial Services is always adding to our list of distinctive venues, we suggest you give us a call to see if you venue has already signed up with us. Venues listed on our website or who offer our product currently work with Event Financial Services. In addition, as a consumer you have the power to influence this decision by your chosen venue. Feel free to ask your venue to contact Event Financial Services to apply for distinctive venue status. However, there may be venues that choose not to offer Event Financial Services to their potential clients. Call us to find out if your venue is working with us (877) 888-0708.

Does Event Financial Services pay other vendors like dj's, florists, etc.?

Only if those other vendors are included in a comprehensive package offered by your event facility, will we cover those expenses. Event Financial Services pays the special event venue or caterer only.

Do I need a co-applicant?

Co-application may be optional or necessary, depending upon the situation. We always suggest choosing the applicant with the best credit to apply and if a co-applicant would help we will let you know. There are instances where the applicant has not established ample credit to qualify for a loan.

What if I want to pay off the loan balance with a bonus or tax refund?

Not a problem at all. Prepayment is always welcome.

What rate am I eligible for?

Our tailored fixed rate special event loan rates are dependent upon the loan term you choose and your credit rating.

How do I know I am getting a good rate?

Event Financial Services is able to offer relatively low rates for special event loans because our loans are specialized for that purpose; as compared with alternative methods of payment, our low, fixed rate option is often the better option. (Please see whitepaper for more information.)

What if I don't end up having my special event?

If the event does not occur, there is no penalty with Event Financial Services. To the extent that part of your deposit is refundable, the venue refunds it directly to pay down your loan. Of course, there may be a non-refundable portion of your deposit enforced by your event venue. WPP cautions clients to read and fully understand agreements very carefully before signing.
